School / Youthwork Evangelist
for the Penketh /Sankey area of Warrington
Are you passionate about reaching young people for Jesus?
With a 30+ year track record in serving Jesus and the young people of Warrington, we are a trusted partner within our local communities and church network. We have an exciting opportunity for a youth worker to join the team, working in two local high schools and the local community in partnership with local churches.
We welcome applications from people who connect well with young people in both a school and community environment and whose Christian faith motivates their youth work. The successful candidate will work well in a team and will also be able to take the initiative in building relationships with volunteers and stakeholders in the local community, in school and in local churches to unlock resources and create missional opportunities. Above all we are seeking someone who shares our love for Jesus, and young people.
If you think this might be you we encourage you to contact us
at firstname.lastname@example.org for an application pack or if you have any queries Steve Murphy (Director) on 0771 885 4167.
There is a genuine occupation requirement that the postholder is a committed evangelical Christian in accordance with Part 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010. An enhanced DBS check will be required.

Prayer for the Current Coronavirus Crisis
Keep us, good Lord,
under the shadow of your mercy
in this time of uncertainty and distress.
Sustain and support the anxious and fearful,
and lift up all who are brought low;
that we may rejoice in your comfort
knowing that nothing can separate us from your love in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
At St.Mary’s we have a daily cycle of prayer so that all the streets in the parish are prayed for each month,
alongside a daily topic for prayer. Please click on the link below for the prayer cycle’
