Community Lunch

Second Tuesday of each month
12.00 Noon – 1.30 pm.

Choose from a selection of homemade soups, bread and butter, cakes, tea or coffee.

Come along, bring a friend. Suggested donation of £4.00. Proceeds to the general running of the church. 

MUSIC GROUP

We have a small group of musicians and singers who lead worship at our 10 am Sunday service using both traditional hymns and modern worship songs. The group meets on Thursday evenings, though not every week, from 7.00 – 8.30pm. Please contact Lynn Parish if interested.

SMALL GROUPS FOR STUDY, PRAYER, FELLOWSHIP AND WITNESS

These geographically based groups meet on Monday afternoon, Tuesday evening and Wednesday evening. If you would like to join a small group, please let the office know at stmarysofficesankey@gmail.com or Tel: 07719 171191.

OUR WORK WITH SCHOOLS

Kids Planet Nursery School

The Kids Planet Nursery School now own and use our former church hall on Liverpool Road. The link with the church continues through regular visits by the church to read bible stories to the pre-school age children. The nursery also visit the church for their annual Harvest, Christmas, Easter and Graduation events.

Park Road Primary School

St.Mary’s has renewed its link with the school recently and are delighted to be able to visit it to take assemblies and lessons. The school also come to the church for occasional services and curriculum visits.

HOW TO GET HERE

Travel by Bike: There are cycle racks to lock your bike to in front of our extension.

Travel by Bus: The number 14 and 15 services run from Warrington Town Centre to near the church and take about 15 minutes.

Travel by Train: The nearest station with a regular service is Warrington West. Trains from both Liverpool and Manchester take around 30-40 minutes. It takes 15 minutes to walk from the station to St.Mary’s.

Travel by Car: The church is situated just off the A57 road from Warrington Town centre to the M62 motorway at Junction 7. There is a small area to park in front of the church, which takes about 5 to 6 cars. Otherwise, there is parking at the Sankey for the Penketh train, which is a 5-minute walk away.
