Safeguarding
Protect everyone in our careKeeping Everyone Safe
We are committed to making our churches places where everyone is welcomed, valued, and safe.
Safeguarding is something we take seriously at St. Mary’s. We want everyone who is part of our church communities — children, young people, adults and those who may be particularly vulnerable — to feel safe, respected and able to take part in the life of our church.
If you have a safeguarding concern about something that has happened, something you have seen or heard, please speak to us. All concerns will be taken seriously and dealt with appropriately.
You can contact Rev. Emma Stonier, directly at this email, or you can speak to John Taylor, in church.
If you have a safeguarding concern, please don’t keep it to yourself. We are committed to responding promptly and appropriately to any concerns raised.
St Mary’s Church takes its duty and obligation to protect everyone extremely seriously. We have adopted the national Church of England’s robust procedures and guidelines. You can find out more about the national policies and procedures by clicking the link below.
